Only two states in the Union have adopted rank choice voting (Alaska & Maine). Sixteen states have voted down rank choice voting and more states are moving legislation to deny its existence in their states. Many Alaskans desire to remove rank choice voting, but the language in the 2024 election was confusing causing people to vote contrary to their desire. The last initiative barely failed.
This initiative is to REPEAL rank choice voting according to the wishes of Alaskans by availing an initiative that is clear, concise, and to the point in returning to the prior election process.
